Emily Carr
Registered Physiotherapist No. 9885
I am a physiotherapist in Valencia, and my vocation has always been linked to health, movement and exercise.
After finishing high school, I moved to Spain to learn Spanish while working as an English teacher. Over time, I decided to turn my passion for the human body and movement into my profession, studying Physiotherapy in Valencia.
My understanding of physiotherapy is based on a very simple idea: movement is the best therapy. Therefore, I decided to specialise in therapeutic exercise, completing a Diploma of Expertise in this area.
I believe in a holistic view of the body, rather than focusing solely on the area where pain occurs. For me, it is essential to identify the source of the problem and understand how the different structures of the body relate to each other to provide truly effective treatment.
In each session I combine manual therapy, therapeutic exercise and dry needling, adapting the treatment to the needs and goals of each patient. My aim is to help you not only relieve pain and recover from an injury, but also to develop the strength, mobility, and confidence necessary to prevent future discomfort and achieve lasting results.
